  1. So very sorry to hear that Rod has passed away. Rod was a wonderfully decent, kind and often outrageously funny man.
He was very kind to me as a young veterinarian when I arrived in the Redlands, and on many occasions afterwards, for almost three decades. I am very saddened by his passing. My deepest condolences to Anne and family.

  2. Dear Anne,

So sorry I couldn’t be there with you all.

You have much to be proud of with you children.

Murray, whom I first met at age 4 , at your house with the Practice in the side garage.
    a great collection of memories.
    Grandkids, Val, “last meal”.
    “Loyalty , honesty , & love”.

Kate, whom Rod carried around 33 Nicholson St, each morning, without complaint.
Discount bills were the half of it!
Showed how much he loved the animals.
Not that he’d ever admit it.

And Sall with a great history.
    “Kind generous, and funny”.
    And never judgemental.

Laurence Leavy, a tonic of a friend.
Wish Id known him longer, and better.

    Charlie forgot Rods Phone signature……
“Hello, Rod McNeill, can I help you?”

    A great send off.
And acknowledgement of a significant contribution to the lives around him.
And of the happiness and joy he brought to all.

    Commiserations ,

    Peter.

  3. Sorry to hear your family has lost such a beautiful soul. My family and I will always remember him for his kindness, compassion and quirky sense of humour.

  4. Very sorry to hear Anne. I hope you and the family are all OK. He was so much fun.
